IPL is also called “Intensive Pulsed Light”. It is different from laser, laser has only one wavelength, IPL has a continuous multi-wavelength incoherent light, the wavelength range is between 470 ~ 1200nm, because it can emit multiple wavelengths of light at the same time, so it can cover a variety of target color groups such as melanin, oxidized hemoglobin, water and other multiple absorption peaks.
Following are a few highlights from IPL treatment & Corresponding Wavelength:Â
Red Skin | Vascular Problem, Telangiectasia | 530nm;560nm;580nm |
Spots | Pigmentation, age spots, freckles | 530nm;560nm |
Skin Rejuvenation | Smooth and delicate skin | 580nm |
Acne Removal | Kill acne bacillus | 480nm; 530nm; 560nm |
Oil Control | Sdredge sebum gland, balance oil secretion & prevent skin problem | 560nm;580nm |
Hair Removal | Destroy hair follicle | 640nm,690nm |
